What you Might Pay

As far as combination air purifier and humidifiers go, the Boneco H300 is a relatively cheap unit. You will find that most retailers price the Boneco H300 between $350 and $400.

Design and Size

It’s important to know the dimensions of any air purifier you are considering buying since you may have a limited amount of space to work with in your home. The Boneco H300 is about 21 inches high. It is rectangular in shape and is a maximum of 14 inches wide. It features a control knob mounted on the front that is used to switch through the different modes and select power levels. All in all, it is about the size of a large computer speaker.

The Boneco H300 essentially employs a 2-filter system. The first is a permanent filter that traps debris in the air. It’s responsible for capturing things like hair, large dust particles and even small insects. The second filter is a downstream filter that sifts out the finer particles like airborne viruses, germs, pollens and dander. The humidifying reservoir can hold over a gallon of water as well.

Room Coverage

While there is no official information given on how much air the Boneco H300 can humidify or purify, we tested it in various sized rooms. It seemed to work best in areas that were 350 square feet and smaller. When we moved it to rooms that were larger than 350 square feet, it still worked, but it had to work much harder and run higher. We would recommend it for small living spaces and bedrooms.

One of the coolest features of the Boneco H300 is the app that lets you control the unit right from your phone. Through the app you can select different modes, program presets and even review the air quality of the room the Boneco H300 is in. There is also a fragrance reservoir in which you can put any kind of essential oil or liquid aroma you want.

There is a child lock so little ones can’t open up the device and play with the internal components. The unit will automatically shut itself off when it detects that its water reservoir is empty. You can set the Boneco H300 on an operation timer and it will tell you when it’s time to change the filter.

Final Words

If you need a humidifier, why not get one that helps purify the air as well? While the Boneco H300 is not the most powerful air purifier, it can still be very beneficial for anyone with sensitive sinuses. As a humidifier, we found this device to be very beneficial – so long as you place it in a small enough area. It adequately humidifies bedrooms and small living spaces and was very easy to maintain. We appreciated the fact that it has a large, 1 gallon+ water reservoir and that it shuts itself off when the water is all gone. Overall, the Boneco H300 humidifier and air purifier is a good buy for its price point.

Overall Rating: 4.5
