Oransi vs. IQAir Reviews

It doesn’t get much better than the IQAir HealthPro Plus. This is iQair’s highest capacity air purifier and is rated to clean the air in rooms up to 1,125 square feet. It can also trap particles that are as small as 0.003 microns. And for odors, IQAir has included in this model their special V5 Cell filter that can be used to eliminate foul smells and neutralize gas and smoke particles.

Benefits:

  • It has a very powerful fan
  • It can be controlled via remote
  • The frame is triple-sealed to prevent drawing dust and debris towards the air intake

Cons:

  • Expensive in comparison to other models
  • Noise level is loud on high fan settings
  • Large and difficult to move around

Trial results:

The IQAir Healthpro Plus was an expensive purchase for testing. The air purifier was over $1,000, however, did an exceptional job at eliminating pollen, bacteria, and viruses. We noticed that the machine was not noisy at fan speeds 1 through 5, however, the air purifier was quite loud at the highest fan speed (speed 6). The highest fan speed is 300 cfm and 510 m3h. Additionally, once the fan was delivered, it was difficult to move into the space that we needed due to the size and weight. This air purifier is 16 x 15 x 28 inches and 35 pounds. We suggest using two people to move the air purifier.

This smaller version of the HealthPro Plus (IQAir Health Pro Compact) is very effective for removing pet dander from the air and reducing pet allergy symptoms. We even used it in the garage where our dog sleeps at night and even though this version does not have the V5 Cell filter; it still helped with the pet odors in the garage. This unit will also tell you when the filters need to be replaced.

Benefits:

  • Comes with caster so it rolls on the ground easily
  • It is covered by a 10-year warranty (filter replacements not included)
  • Features a medical grade HEPA filter

Another air purifier that features tried and true HEPA filter technology, the Oransi Max HEPA was designed to work in rooms up to 600 square feet. This thing pretty much does everything. The activated carbon filter will take care of tough odors in your home and it even has an auto mode that senses the density of pollutants in the air and will adjust the fan speed accordingly. There are 4 fan speeds and the HEPA filter is rated to last for a year.

Benefits:

  • Runs at just 34 decibels on the lowest fan setting
  • Comes with a 10 year warranty
  • You can vacuum clean the pre-filter

The Oransi OV200 model has 3-stage air filtration: a pre-filter for larger particles, a HEPA filter for ultrafine particles and a carbon filter to trap and neutralize odors. You can control the fan speed, activate the child lock, activate the timer, switch to night mode or auto mode and turn the device on and off via remote control. This is a very compact, light air purifier and can be discreetly placed in any room of your home.

  • It holds a MERV rating of 16
  • The HEPA filter is rated to last for a year
  • Replace/clean filter indicator light

IQAir vs. Oransi Company Comparison

Air Oasis

The Oransi Company was founded by asthma sufferers 15 years ago. They make products for home and commercial use and emphasize quality and affordability. This is evident as many of their products feature HEPA filters that are rated to last for 12 months – twice as long as the average HEPA air purifier.

IQAir

The genesis of the IQAir Company dates all the way back to 1963 when the Hammes brothers first started using filters for indoor home use. The company relocated from Germany to Switzerland and today, they are one of the leading companies that make air purifiers that focus on trapping harmful ultrafine particles.

Final Words

We know that getting the most out of your air purifier is important. So if you need medical-grade air filtration and world-class odor control, the iQair line of purifiers may work best for your needs. They are a longstanding company that has been recognized for their powerful air purifiers.

On the other hand, if you want something just as effective for a lower cost, Oransi makes some great machines. They can help reduce operational costs and provide you with reliable odor and air quality management. We hope our review has helped make your decision a little easier.
